Just a few weeks ago, I received something that was a long time coming. My very own Queensberry Album! Now you can imagine why it took me just over a year to actually get it designed and ordered - I'm a Queensberry designer - which is another way of saying that I'm a perfectionist. And when it came to my own album... it had to be doubly perfect! During the design process, I naively tried to involve Kurt with the decisions about which images to use and what size album to go for. This resulted in a few 'I don't know, just do what you want' type grunts, that weren't particularly helpful. However, To View More >>

Many photographers include albums in their wedding packages but you'd never know it! On their websites they'll say they sell them - they may even say how much they cost - but they won't actually show what they look like. We strongly believe that to be successful you need to show people what you want them to buy. Sarah Vivienne from the UK is someone who does a great job of it. These photos are from her blog: On her blog Sarah photographs and discusses her albums with detailed product shots and insight into the design process. I recently spoke with her and this is what she had to say: "I find To View More >>

For those of you that wish to have a full bleed image on the page after a translucent title you will be encountering an error that stops you from proceeding. We are aware of the problem and are working on a solution in Photojunction. In the meantime we have two options for getting around this issue: • Either drop the image onto the layout and physically drag the image to the edges or; • Instead of selecting the title option, leave a note in the special To View More >>
Sorry, false advertising - that's as raunchy as this blog post is going to get. We don't have much in shades of grey, but our albums come in colours and fabrics of all sorts – whites and blacks, reds and golds, blues and greens, and more. But just two shades of grey. Something I love about workspace is that when you're ordering an album, everything is visual. You can see the sizes and shapes, and the images are so clear and accurate you can almost smell and feel the leather (I'm getting carried away again). So, no need for shades of grey. The whole process is black and white. Cheers, Pete A To View More >>
